With its intellectual aspect, it is to provide an education that educates individuals who can think multi-dimensionally, produce, share, use and present their ideas, interpret these values with a perspective in line with contemporary art history principles and produce interdisciplinary projects that can reveal original culture and art history research and produce interdisciplinary projects.
Vision
Taking into account the curriculum of art history programs both in our country and abroad, to apply contemporary teaching principles and ensure their continuity, to be a constantly developing department in raising equipped students by supporting basic vocational courses, applied for courses in the field of architectural and decorative arts, and especially in Sürmeli Çukuru region that includes Iğdır to contribute to raising social awareness for the promotion, protection, and survival of the material cultural assets in our country.
