Mission and Vision
To educate individuals who have gained historical perspectives and who are able to critically and objectively look at events and problems, starting from the finding that the past, which plays a primary role in today's formation, can be examined and understood through scientific method and interdisciplinary point of view. Within the framework of a holistic approach with the same method and point of view, contributing to the healthy formation of the community memory, for the benefit of mankind and the country, by examining the different phases of World History and Turkish History and the interaction processes between the Turks and the communities they contacted in different geographies.
It is in the past that the societies in which the people of day-to-day empowerment come together to objectively evaluate their political, military, cultural and economic situations both within themselves and in other societies, and also with their change, development and interactions with each other in various ways in accordance with the history method. This is to educate our students with program sufficiency in the direction of universal goals and to acquire a modern historian identity by bringing them to scientific level in the historical process, bringing them to a sufficient level in accordance with the needs of the modern age by making logical and self-consistent foresight. Our students with this identity; evaluate historical subjects as a modern and impartial historian by taking advantage of other disciplines and also be able to collect individuals who are involved in the whole of the related educational institutions and who are conscious and who are connected with Ataturk's Principles and Revolutions
